Basilisk Pi One: The Patriarch's Hammer
Okay, I'll admit one tank hardly constitutes a whole battery, but I have to start somewhere. This was actually the first thing I painted for the army. It was originally assembled much like a weaponless Chimera for use as a transport in the Necromunda Triple Cross scenario. Once I made up my mind to play 40K again, I took out the rest of the pieces and made it into the motorized artillery it was meant to be. I had never painted an Imperial tank before and I was unsure how the two-tone cult color camouflage would look on the finished product. I was pleasantly surprised. The crew were my test models for the colors and overall look of my troops.
