The 138th Lifers under the command of Custodian Sheppard
This was a unit I've been wanting to field ever since I got it into my head to do a Guard army. When I saw the crazy rules they got in the 5th edition codex, that only fanned the fire. It's no coincidence that my custodian is the old Colonel Schaffer model. The troopers themselves are original Rogue Trader penal legionaires (well, except for the two human bombs I had to use to round out the squad). I even went as far as making custom counters to represent the three different randomly rolled Desperadoes abilities. This should prove to make a very interesting unit of scouts, to say the least!
